Aging is an interesting experience…

 

Now that I recently passed the average life expectancy of a white male in the United States of 77.8 years, I guess I’m a genuine old timer!

 

I’m finding each day beyond that time really interesting. Knowing that any moment I might be gone has increased my awareness of my surroundings and what I happen to be doing. It’s an experience I’m thoroughly enjoying and given the opportunity of going back to an earlier age, I would decline. I find myself extremely happy at my current age.

 

A couple of days ago I stumbled upon this video by Willie Nelson entitled Old Timer. Is there anyone that doesn’t enjoy the music of Wiilie Nelson? The lyrics of this pretty song are intriguing to me.

 

I really enjoyed it and hope you will as well…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By the way, Willie is currently 85 years old and still on the road doing concerts. He’s lived quite the life!

 

Hmmm… now that I think about it so have I!  Like Willie, I’m still on the road doing my thing!  🙂
