The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in Monroe, Washington. I’ll depart here later this morning.

Just for the record… I do not purposefully hunt these types of videos. They randomly present themselves as I watch general YouTube videos while eating my breakfast.

This is the 16th video which I guess is becoming a series about how politicians are destroying our beautiful country. In this case… politicians in general seem to care more about personal gains rather than the people they are supposed to be serving. Original politicians served for one year then went home. If they really cared, they would limit themselves to serving only one term rather than wallowing for as long as possible at the public trough! They would also disavow their gold-plated pensions and get on the regular social security system as the rest of us!

The video published three days ago runs 9:36 minutes…

How do you feel about this topic????

If you agree with this message, I encourage you to share it with your friends.

I hope you enjoyed the video.

Thousand Trails Medina Lake RV Resort – Lakehills, Texas Day 4 (GA305)

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,500+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

Mary remains at home in California tending to medical issues. She had successful carotid artery surgery on Wednesday, November 14th,  returned home the following day and is in the process of recuperation.

On Day 1 of this current Blog entries, I wrote about the abundance of black-tail deer there are here in this campground. I also indicated that consequently during this current Blog sequence you will being seeing lots of deer photos. Today is such the case…

It’s interesting how nature has provided the deer with coloring that helps them blend in with the local vegetation. Here is an example…

In the first photo below, about 15 feet from the motorhome are four deer. Can you see them???…

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

If you could not find them, look at the top of the yellow lines in the next photo below…

Enjoying beautiful animals in nature is another joy of the full-time RVing lifestyle!

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails about 40 miles west of San Antonio. It’s the largest RV resort company with 80 locations nationwide, of which Mary and I are members.

I’m beginning my “Winter hibernation” by hiding out from colder weather with a three-week stay, departing not later than December 10th. After my stay here, I’ll head even further south until I reach the Rio Grande River and the border of Mexico to hide out from the colder Winter weather.

I haven’t been in San Antonio since 1979, so I may take a day-trip or two there while I’m here. Other than that I’ll just be hanging around reading and doing area photography. I’ll be supplementing my daily Blog with RV related topics that I’ve accumulated over the past year.

High Winds And Dust Storm In Arizona… (GA124)

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 22nd year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in La Connor, Washington. I’ll depart here July 24th.

Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.

In 2011-2013, Mary and I did a 682 day, 12,679 miles in the motorhome and 8,000 miles in the Bronco, circumnavigation of the United States, which I called The Great Adventure. I called it so because other than my oldest granddaughter’s high school graduation in June in Connecticut, I didn’t know where we would be going or when we would be there!

So, unless I do something really different and unusual warranting a new blog entry, I’ll be posting entries from that trip.

This entry was posted May 27, 2012…

Our motorhome is parked in the Cottonwood Campground at Canyon de Chelly (d’SHAY) at Chinle in northeast Arizona. We thought the day before yesterday was pretty bad with wind and dust…but yesterday was something else!

Yesterday morning Mary and I took our towed Ford Bronco II for a day trip along the south rim of Canyon de Chelly. After about 30 minutes, the wind and dust were so bad we decided to abort our trip and return to the motorhome. At this time winds were estimated to be a constant 60+ miles per hour…and it got worse during the mid-afternoon when I guess-timated at 70 to 80 miles an hour. Mary guess-timated one gust at 100 miles per hour!

In my 17 years as a full-time RVer, I’ve been in my share of high wind and dust storms…but this one ranks as the worst.

The below photos were taken around 10:00 AM and the video at noon. By around 2:00 PM it was really howling! Our motorhome was struck by a couple of smaller tree branches…apparently no damage resulted.

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

This next photo was taken on the way back to the motorhome. Note the black on the lower left and upper right…because of the dust my protective lens shutter did not fully open. I had to give my camera a good cleaning once we got back to the motorhome…

A 180 degree panorama of the campground taken at the front of our motorhome…

This group of trees are about 250 feet from our motorhome…

Here’s the link to my 40 second video…

Like I said earlier…by mid-afternoon it got worse…it was really howling.

Fortunately…this is a rare happening. 99% of the time I’m in delightful weather! Today is supposed to be 69 degrees, sunny with a gentle breeze.

In other news…

In my last two Blog entries I mentioned having problems uploading photos to my Picasa Web Albums. We’ll I’m finally caught up.

Just in case you care and desire to see the photos that you missed because of my Internet signal problems for the last two days…

The Beauty Of Horseshoe Lakes

Jim says:

In my last Blog entry I mentioned how pretty it is here at Thousand Trails Horseshoe Lakes RV Resort near Clinton, Indiana. Here are six photos to illustrate…

Yesterday was a halfway decent day weather-wise…78 degrees, partly sunny, lower humidity than recent days and a strong breeze all day long. It’s so nice to have the humidity back down a bit!
