Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 5,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

The motorhome is parked at Shady Acres RV Park in Yuma, Arizona. I may be here until March 4th.
Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.
The motorhome is parked at American Legion Post #191 in Sudbury, Massachusetts. I expect to depart here later this morning.
Mary is back at her home in California tending to some personal business. She has made her plane reservations and will fly to meet me in Boston, Massachusetts on July 30th.
The high temperature yesterday was only 82 degrees in the shade. However, It rained most of the day, some times very hard, and the humidity was 95%. The motorhome air-conditioning ran from noon to 7:00 PM.
As I some times like to do…all of today’s photos were shot using m camera’s watercolor mode…

Yesterday I had originally planned to go to Walden Pond…about 12 miles distant. Because of the rain I knew I’d end up walking in some mud. That, plus the $8 parking fee just to take a few photos, took care of that idea. Just so you do not feel cheated, by clicking this link you can see some nice photos of Walden Pond… http://thoreau.eserver.org/pondpics.html
Instead I chose to go in between the rain squalls back to Longfellow’s Wayside Inn which I went to a couple of days ago but had to quit because of the heat and humidity… http://wp.me/pDCku-8FH
This time I photographed the old grist mill. Built in 1929 by renowned hydraulic engineer J.B. Campbell, the Wayside Inn Grist Mill produces approximately 5 tons of flour per year. The Grist Mill was used by Pepperidge Farm as a full-time production facility from 1952-1967 and is the basis for their company logo.
I suppose I could have shown only one or two photos of this grist mill, but a photographer sees a subject in many different perspectives. I hope you enjoy the numerous views of this beautiful old place.
I like to use the watercolor mode on old structures…
The mill is closed on Mondays and Tuesday. I managed this photo through a dirty window pane…

After sitting so long at my son’s home and then waiting out the week-long heat wave…I had grown tired of sitting around. It’s nice to be back on the move once again!
