Sand Creek Beach Campground At Salton Sea, California

Yesterday I drove the motorhome 38 miles from Salton to Palm Desert, California where I’m parked at Thousand Trails Palm Springs RV Resort. I expect to be here at least two weeks.

 

I spent the previous night at Sand Creek Beach Campground along the eastern shore of the Salton Sea. The X in the below Google earth image shows the location. California Highway 111 lies atop the San Andreas Fault…
