Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 21st year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in La Connor, Washington. I’ll depart here August 30th. I’ve been here a number of times in past years.
I’ll be hanging out in this general area until about the beginning of October, taking maximum advantage of my Thousand Trails membership and very agreeable weather.
This area of Washington has always been one of my very favorite locations in all of the United States. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the air is fresh and clean, it seldom gets too hot or cold, there are virtually no bugs or mosquitos and the people are very friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and know the area very well. It’s my very favorite place to go to during the Summer…that’s why I keep returning.
Yesterday’s blog posting was about the San Juan Islands.
One of the most enjoyable things to do in this area is take a day trip on the Washington State Ferry System and wander among the San Juan Islands, just west of Fidalgo Island and Anacortes.
In 2011, Mary and I took the Bronco on a day trip to Orcas Island.
Here are some photos I took of the Orcas Island during that day trip…
As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…
First a Google earth image of the San Juan Islands (right center). My campground location is shown as TT. To the West (left) of the San Juan Islands is Canada. Orcas Island is directly to the left of the words Lummi Island…

Yesterday was sunny and 79 degrees. Forecast for today is sunny and 78 degrees.
Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!
The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of Washington. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…
Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
