Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 5,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
Sadly Mary is struggling with health issues. To see the latest about her situation, click here

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Turtle Beach RV Resort in Manteca, California. I’m scheduled to depart here April 17th.
Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.
Yesterday I drove the motorhome the 71 miles from Glasgow to Malta, Montana.
We continued traveling along U.S.Highway 2 West.
Montana is called the Big Sky Country. I wonder if it’s because sometimes there’s nothing in the way to block your view of the sky…
As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…
Along the way we stopped in the small Town of Saco and saw the reconstructed one room school-house of famous newscaster, Chet Huntley. If you have forgotten him, clicking this link will refresh your memory as well as to tell about Saco…population 244… http://www.sacomontana.net/history.htm
Arriving at Malta, we parked in the parking lot of the Phillips County Museum and the adjacent Great Plains Dinosaur Museum. Mary visited the dinosaur museum while I visited the Phillips County Museum. Here are some of the photos that I took in there…
I really enjoyed this museum and highly recommend it if you are in the area. Here’s their official website link… http://www.phillipscountymuseum.org/
The museum graciously allowed us to spend the night in their parking lot, even provided us with an electrical hookup…
Here’s the usual dinette window photo…
You can read all about Malta and how it got its name by clicking this Wikipedia link… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta,_Montana
Yesterday was an okay weather day. High 70’s, cloudy with a couple of heavier thunderstorms. Today’s forecast is 82, sunny with a morning thunderstorm.
We’ll continue our westward travel later this morning.
Enjoying pioneer museums is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!
The red dot on the below map shows our approximate location in the State of Montana. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…
TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! MARY WROTE A MANY GREAT BLOGS…SO WHENEVER SHE PUBLISHED A BLOG POSTING THE SAME DAY THAT I DID…YOU WILL BE ABLE TO READ HER BLOG BY CLICKING THE BELOW LINK! DO IT NOW!

I hope you enjoyed the photos.
Forecast for today is mostly cloudy and 76 degrees.
Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!

My current travel rig is a 2006 Fleetwood 26′ Class A Motorhome and a towed 1986 Ford Bronco II, Eddie Bauer Model. This photo was taken in the desert at Slab City near Niland, California…
