Yesterday I drove the motorhome 238 miles from Bakersfield to Manteca, California. I’m parked at Thousand Trails Turtle Beach RV Resort. I’ll depart here April 17th.

 

 

Who says just because you are in a large city you can’t see a pretty sunrise? First photo below was taken in Bakersfield yesterday morning.

 

It was a long five-hour drive on U.S. Highway 99 with lots of vehicles going too fast. Lots of places in the old highway are badly worn or patched making for a bone-jarring ride.
