The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV resort in Palm Desert, California. I’m scheduled to depart here March 19th.

 

 

 

Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the about 85 miles from Iron Mountain, Michigan to Hurley, Wisconsin.

 

 

We continued traveling along U.S.Highway 2 West. Because this is a very thinly populated area, the traffic was very light…

Yesterday was another horrendous weather day…94 degrees with high humidity. Another scorcher is forecast for today.. 86 degrees with a real feel of 95. At 5:00 AM this morning it was 68 degrees with 76% humidity. Good temperature…lousy humidity. YUK!

 

 

We’ll continue our westward travel later this morning.

 

 

Enjoying friendly VFW Posts is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

Ashland, Wisconsin

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the about 40 miles from  Hurley to Ashland, Wisconsin.

We continued traveling along U.S.Highway 2 West.

At 2:00 PM, a violent thunderstorm erupted with winds in excess of 60 miles an hour. It blew really hard for a half-hour…

Yesterday was another horrendous weather day…86 degrees with a real feel of 95 and high humidity. After the storm blew through, the temperature dropped to a delightful 70 degrees with 72% humidity.

At 5:00 AM this morning it was 72 degrees with 82% humidity. Good temperature…lousy humidity! YUK!

We’ll continue our westward travel later this morning.
