Got this neat shot of Mt. Shasta from about 20 miles distant. It’s an unusual photo as the norm is for the clouds to be gathered around and hiding the summit…

Along the way I passed Lake Shasta…

Gold Hill To Hillsboro, Oregon

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 5,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 23rd year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here

Yesterday I drove the motorhome 275 miles from Gold Hill to Hillsboro, Oregon.

I don’t really care to drive that many miles a day anymore. The weather was nice and I was feeling really good. Most of the drive was on Interstate Highway 5.

If you are a regular follower of my blog, you know that I have been dealing with an intermittent low power problem. Unfortunately, it is not giving any codes for the computer scanner to offer any clues of what might be the problem. With no codes, I’ve only been able to start replacing likely parts. After 2.5 years of frustration, I’ve decided to take it to a Workhorse Chassis Center.

I was last in this area in 2015 when I was having an electrical problem and ended up at Bruce Chevrolet in Hillsboro, Oregon. The RV Technician “Red” really impressed me with his abilities and how quickly he fixed that problem.

So, I have an 8 AM appointment with Red tomorrow. I’m hoping with his advanced skills and equipment, He’ll be able to figure out the cause of my low power problem.

I arrived yesterday afternoon. I’m parked at the back of the shop where I have an electrical hookup so that I can run my air conditioner to fight off the 88 degrees temperature…

I’m hoping to be back on the road by Monday afternoon.

Fortunately, there is a very friendly Eagles Club just a couple of miles from here which I’ll visit while I;m waiting for Monday morning.

Interesting side note from my visit in 2015…This was a first for me…spending a night in a car dealership. For security reasons, they kept the large lot greatly lit all night. It was like being parked in the middle of Yankee Stadium during a night game.  🙂
