Painted Rock Historic Park, Arizona

The motorhome is parked in Mary’s yard at her home at Murphys, California. My departure date to head South is now set for December 2nd. About one month later Mary will fly to meet me in Yuma, Arizona.

In the meantime, I’ll continue cleaning and doing minor work on both the motorhome and Bronco. After our 682 day journey, they were both ready for some attention.

Yesterday was a mostly sunny day at 72 degrees. The forecast calls for sunny weather in the 60’s and low 70’s through November 19th. Today is forecast sunny and 74 degrees.

A CHANGE…

I’ve decided that my current daily activities (cleaning the interior of the motorhome) are not really all that exciting to read or see. I’ve further decided to share with you some of the photos from our recent 682 days of circumnavigating the United States.

CLICK ON THE BELOW PHOTO. ONCE YOU ARRIVE AT THE PHOTO ALBUM, SIMPLY CLICK “SLIDESHOW” AND ENJOY!

Painted Rock Historic Park, Arizona

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PHOTOS. UNLESS I DID SOMETHING UNIQUE OR UNUSUAL YESTERDAY, THE PHOTO ALBUM WILL CHANGE DAILY.

You can read about this place by clicking this Wikipedia link… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painted_Rocks_%28Arizona%29

Here’ their official BLM link… http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/prog/recreation/camping/dev_camps/painted_rock.html

My miscellaneous chores list is now complete. The only thing awaiting my attention is more cleaning on the interior of the motorhome and to assist Mary with some of her house chores.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

Working On The Motorhome – Day 14

Yesterday was a mostly sunny day at 67 degrees. The forecast calls for sunny weather in the 60’s and low 70’s through November 13th. Today is forecast sunny and 72 degrees.

Yesterday was clean the bathroom day. All the nooks and crannies got scrubbed clean…

My miscellaneous chores list is now complete. The only thing awaiting my attention is more cleaning on the interior of the motorhome.

More cleaning today.

Since our accident about 1.5 years ago, I now suffer from diminished energy/stamina. I can now work only 2-3 hours a day before I get tired and have to quit. I know that these current Blog entries are not particularly exciting reading, but they do reflect the daily activities of a full-time RVer. Gotta stop and clean and work on the vehicles once in a while!

Working On The Motorhome – Day 9

Yesterday was a nice sunny day at 71 degrees. Today sunny and 75. A sunny forecast and temperatures in the upper 60’s to low 70’s through November 7th.

Yesterday was a miscellaneous chores day. I installed a new a/c filter in the motorhome…

Next item was to off-load a bunch of movies from the motorhome and then put a bunch of new ones aboard.

Then I spent about one hour getting Mary’s computer printer to work. I finished the day’s work re-gluing my sandals. I’ve been looking for new ones in stores for a while now with no luck. I decided to look online, found a pair and ordered them. Hope I like them when they arrive….

Yesterday was a nice sunny day at 67 degrees. Today sunny and 71. A sunny forecast and temperatures in the upper 60’s to low 70’s through November 7th.

Yesterday Mary wanted to take her bike to the shop for a tune-up. Since the bike rack is on the Bronco we took it. In addition we stopped at a Goodwill to drop off some stuff I removed from the motorhome and stopped at the hardware store to buy a new a/c filter for the motorhome. More cleaning today…

Working On The Motorhome – Day 7

The motorhome is parked in Mary’s yard at her home at Murphys, California. I expect to be here until shortly after Thanksgiving cleaning and doing minor work on both the motorhome and Bronco. After our 682 day journey, they are both ready for some attention.

Yesterday was a cool 57 degrees and cloudy most of the day. Sunny skies return today with a high of 64. Then sunny through November 7th with temps in low 70’s to high 60’s.

Now that all my outside work is done on the motorhome and Bronco,  I’ve shifted my attention to the inside of the motorhome, meaning…interior cleaning.

Yesterday was clean the refrigerator day. The day after I arrived around four weeks ago we unloaded the items from the refrigerator brought them into Mary’s house. I then installed the supplied plastic clips on the doors to allow for air flow while the refrigerator is in the shut-off mode…

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

The cleaning took about an hour. The refrigerator is a 6.3 cubic foot. This photo was taken before the cleaning was accomplished…
