Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 21st year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here
The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Mount Vernon RV Resort in Bow, Washington. I’ll depart here August 9th. I’ve been here a number of times in past years.
I’ll be hanging out in this general area until about the beginning of October, taking maximum advantage of my Thousand Trails membership and very agreeable weather.
(Note: I’m currently a little discombobulated right now. My normal mode is to blog what I experienced yesterday. Right now, I’m a number of blogs behind my experiences. I expect to be back in my normal mode in about a month.)
Today’s subject…
I love being a photographer because I get to see a lot of things that most people miss during their daily walk of life. Looking at life through a little square hole for more than 40 years, zeros you into things held within the big picture.
Today’s subject is a great example…as a matter of fact…I almost missed them.
The below photo shows what the wall they are affixed upon is hiding…the Eighth Street Electrical Sub-Station…
As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…
Notice the wall on the very far right. On the street side of that wall are…
These wonderful deco-style murals of past Bremerton…
Just like old black and white photos….
They depict times past…
Which will never return…
Someone took great pains to make these beautiful creations…
Yet now they are in a neglected state….
In need of a gentle and loving cleaning….
I was able to clean them up in Picasa to some degree…
Difficult to do without ruining the effect of the mural….
Anyways, like I said earlier….
I’ll bet thousands of people pass-by this beautiful memorabilia…
Without ever seeing them….
I truly hope some responsible person in Bremerton will see this posting…
And arrange for their cleaning.
As a matter of fact…right after this blog is posted, I’m going to email it to City Hall with the hope that they receive the much-needed attention. I’ll let you know if I receive any positive feedback from City Hall.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!
The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of Washington. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…
Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
