The motorhome is parked in Thousand Trails RV Resort in Seaside, Oregon. I’m scheduled to depart here June 2nd.

Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.

This entry was posted October 7, 2013…

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the 166 miles from Springfield to Medford, Oregon.

The day started sunny and clear but it wasn’t long that I ran into patchy fog as I drove south on Interstate Highway 5…

After 3.5 hours of driving I arrived at Eagles Club #2093 in Medford, where I parked at the very rear of their parking lot…

Once again the electrical hookups were back-in only. Since I have an early morning appointment a few miles down the road to get some work done on the motorhome, I elected to back the Bronco in first and then the motorhome. Now I’m all hooked-up and ready to roll first thing in the morning…

I spent the afternoon reading, taking a nap, doing some computer work and visiting with the local Eagles members. I’ll continue my southerly journey later this morning. Google Earth is telling me I’ve got 393 miles to go until I arrive at Mary’s home at Murphys, California.

The sun finally broke through the patchy morning fog by mid-morning. Yesterday’s high temperature was 78 degrees with mostly sunny skies. At 5:00 AM when I arose thus morning it was 47 degrees! Pretty cool.

Last night I watched another old movie from the 1930’s. This time it was 1939 – Union Pacific starring Barbara Stanwyck and Joel Macrae. Another classic!

Enjoying friendly Eagles Clubs is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
