The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Turtle Beach RV Resort in Manteca, California. I’m scheduled to depart here April 17th.

Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.

This entry was posted September 12, 2013…

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the 42 miles from Chester to Shelby, Montana.

We continued traveling along U.S.Highway 2 West.

More of very light traffic coming into Shelby…

We went to Bryan’s Automotive Service where, with the help of proper testing equipment, he corrected the previous guys two wiring errors on the umbilical cord from the motorhome to the Bronco. I checked twice to make sure everything is working properly this time…including the charging of the Bronco battery. One hour and $85 later we were on the road again…

In this next photo you see the Great Northern Railroad Train on the right. Highway 2 parallels the tracks for many miles…sometimes as little as 50 feet from the roadway. The tracks came first in 1891 and Highway 2 in the mid-1930’s…

Arriving in Cut Bank 23 miles later, we did a little scouting out of potential overnight parking places then went to the Glacier County Museum where I took the following photos…

Yesterday was a decent day. 80 degrees…humidity still to high. Today’s forecast 80 degrees.

We’ll continue our westward travel later this morning.

Enjoying parking in city parks is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
