Sturbridge, Massachusetts Day 3 (GA552)

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 5,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

The motorhome is parked at Shady Acres RV Park in Yuma, Arizona. I may be here until March 4th.

Since my RVing life is changing (see above), I’m starting to re-visit previously visited places. So rather than constantly re-blogging past entries, I’ve decided to do something different.

This entry was posted July 17, 2013…

The motorhome is parked at the Outdoor World Campground in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. I expect to depart here on Sunday.

Mary is back at  her home in California tending to some personal business. She has a tentative return-to-me-date of July 23rd.

I’m hiding out in the air-conditioning of the motorhome during a week-long heat wave. For the next four days the temperatures are supposed to be mid-90’s with similar humidity. YUK!!!

In the below Google Earth image my location is marked by the yellow dot…

The temperature when I arose at 5:00 AM was 72 degrees with 93% humidity. By around 8:00 AM I’ll close the windows and turn on the air-conditioning. Good thing I like to read because that’s what I’ll spend most of my day doing.

Here are some more campground photos…

Because of the excessive heat, I talk my daily walk at 5:30 AM. Lots of bugs and mosquitos are out at that time of the day…
