What I Look Like During Happy Hour…

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,500+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 23rd year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here

The motorhome is parked at American Legion Post #19 in Yuma, Arizona. I expect to depart here February 28th..

As I’ve indicated several times in the past, my favorite hangout here in Yuma is American Legion Post #19, my current parking location. It’s a really friendly group and I usually end up in there during happy hour 2-3 times a week.
A couple  of days ago, the barmaid Dee was taking photos of customers with her smart phone using an app called Snapchat. The app creates hilarious images which has the entire happy hour crowd howling with laughter. Here’s the reason why…
Are we having fun yet?  🙂
As I’ve aged, I learned a long time ago that laughter is the foundation for good mental health. Especially the ability to laugh at yourself!  🙂

PS: Interesting happening during the night. 11:35 PM, about two minutes after returning to bed from a pee break. 71 degrees, both bedroom windows are wide open. Bamm, bam. Two quite loud (estimate within 1/4 mile) mid-caliber (estimate 32 caliber) gunshots in rapid (less than one second) secession. Sat up for about another five minutes waiting for further activity. Nothing more, no police followup, sirens, etc.. Interesting!

Two years I was an ear-witness to a nighttime drive-by shooting here in Yuma. You can read about that happening by clicking this link…

I hope you enjoyed the photo.

Forecast for today is partly sunny and 71 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of Arizona. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
