Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 22nd year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here

The motorhome is parked at Mary’s home in Murphys, California. I am scheduled to depart November 27th. While here, I’ll do cleaning, routine maintenance and minor repairs to both vehicles.
Yesterday I attended a local Veterans Day Ceremony at EbbettsPass Veterans Memorial Park here in Murphys, California.
On a bright and sunny morning, it was emotional one-hour ceremony honoring veterans past and present.
Here are some of the photos that I took…
As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…
Immediately upon arriving I was handed this paper. Since it’s hard to read in the photo, I’ll tell you what is says…
Victory is our because of you!
Every Veteran is so special and important to this free country.
Thank you for all you did and sacrificed for our county.
Each Veteran did a huge part for our freedom.
Remember every day what a Veteran means to this country.
America is now free because of great Veterans who sacrificed their own life.
Never forget any of the Veterans who made our freedom possible.
The paper was present to me by the local American Heritage Girls troop…
The Calavaras County Community Band played lots of military music…
I estimate the crowd to be about three hundred…
Taps was played and the flag raised to half-mast…
Several local fifth-graders read their Veterans essays…
It’s a beautiful memorial park…
Sadly there were only four World War II Vets present. They are getting harder to find…
The POW-MIA flag was raised on a new flag pole by the lady who payed for the pole honoring her dead husband…
If you are in the area, it’s worth your time to visit.
