Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 22nd year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here
Yesterday I drove the motorhome 22 miles from Bow to La Connor, Washington.
The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort. I’ll depart here August 23rd. I’ve been here a number of times in past years.
I’ll be hanging out in this general area until about mid-September, taking maximum advantage of my Thousand Trails membership and very agreeable weather.
The below Google Earth images show the relative locations. The upper right is Bow and lower left is La Conner. Many Thousand Trails members spend the entire summer in this area by playing the La Conner-to-Bow-to La Conner shuffle.

In other news…
The normal is brilliant clear blue skies and agreeable temperatures in the mid-70’s. Yesterday and today (and the next few days) temps here along the shore of Skagit Bay…mid 80’s. In addition, heavy smoky skies from a fire in British Columbia, Canada are in the area. The below photos shows last nights sunset with one exception…the sun is shown as white, but in reality was blood-red…
Both temps and smoky skies…unusual indeed!
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PHOTOS.
Forecast for today is sunny and 86 degrees.
Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!
The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of Washington. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…
Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
