The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Palm Springs RV Resort in Palm Desert, California. I’m scheduled to depart here December 21st.
I’ve been coming here for almost twenty years and have thoroughly explored this area. This blog posting has been previously published.
On February 14, 2014, Mary and I took a ride on the tramway. It rises 2.5 miles in 10 minutes and we were told is the second steepest in the world. The temperature on the valley floor was 88 degrees and 56 atop the mountain.

On October 27, 2012, I created a two-minute video titled America The Beautiful. The music America The Beautiful is by Christopher W. French.
