The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Palm Springs RV Resort in Palm Desert, California. I’m scheduled to depart here December 21st.

 

I am parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort of which Mary and I are members. It’s about 20 miles east of Palm Springs, California. The resort is set on 25 acres and has 805 tall date palm trees.

 

I took these photos in February, 2014. The evening was delightful as a warm summer evening. It was 73 degrees when we left the motorhome at 7:15 PM for a 45 minute stroll around the resort to take photos with available light. Normally using a tripod is recommended for night-time photography, but these are all hand-held. Some will appear to be abstract in nature, which is the way I intended them. You do not have to know what the subject is to enjoy the patterns, forms, shapes and colors…
