Unique And Efficient, But…

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
I’m currently in my 21st year of full-time RVing and my lifestyle is changing, For more info click Here

The motorhome is parked at Fort Townsend State Park in Port Townsend, Washington. I’ll be departing from here later this morning.

(Note: I’m currently a little discombobulated right now. My normal mode is to blog what I experienced yesterday. Right now, I’m several blogs behind my experiences. I expect to be back in my normal mode within a couple of weeks.)

Today’s subject jumps back in to real-time to yesterday for one day. Unique And Efficient, But…

I wouldn’t want to live in it full-time! But it suits the needs of Paul and Terri just fine!

This blog entry is about my next-campsite neighbors, Paul and Terri from Tacoma, Washington and their unique RV. Paul is retired U.S. Army and a very talented handyman. They have had this rig since 2013 and traveled all over the western United States…

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

Their tow vehicle is the world’s only Ford Bronco 3. Ford Motor Company never made one. It’s actually a 1991 Ford Explorer that once had four doors…

Paul also custom-built the storage area…

Paul created their unique RV using a fold-up motorcycle trailer as a base. He told me the whole thing is held together by about eight bolts. When at home, he disassembles the unit, folds the trailer in half and stores it in the corner of his garage…

Pretty neat…

Their license frame says it all…

Paul told me he got some of his modification ideas from this website…

It’s always fun to run across unique things as I travel. Paul and Terri have created a most interesting and unique RV…something you don’t get to see every day. Safe travels, Paul and Terri. Thanks for sharing your unique RV with us!

I hope you enjoyed the photos!

While the rest of the nation bakes under high temperatures, this is why I am where I am! At Mary’s home in California, the next seven-day forecast is for 101+ temperatures!

Yesterday was cloudy/sunny and 64 degrees. Forecast for today is mostly sunny and 69 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of Washington. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!

My current travel rig is a 2006 Fleetwood 26′ Class A Motorhome and a towed 1986 Ford Bronco II, Eddie Bauer Model. This photo was taken in the desert at Slab City near Niland, California…
