Another Rainbow – Seaside, Oregon

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in Seaside, Oregon. I’ve been here several times before. I plan to depart from here June 15th. I’ll slow my pace and spend the rest of the Summer in the State of Washington.

Yesterday I blogged about a Thursday evening rainbow about 8:30 PM. About 15 minutes after I posted that blog entry yesterday morning at 6:10 AM, I saw another, this time, a morning rainbow. Those photos appear in this blog entry.

If you are a long-time follower of my blogs, you know that I do what I call…honest photography. That is…I use no extreme photo altering programs such as Photoshop. I normally might do a little cropping and slight color enhancement using only Picasa 3. So…what you see is essentially what I saw when I took the photo.

In some of today’s photos, I took a little more liberty in my use of Picasa 3 than normal. I “pushed” the colors creating a somewhat abstract result. I hope you enjoy them.

The little streaks are out-of focus rain drops. To find out why rainbows occur only in the morning or evening, click  here

And then last night this is what the sky looked like. Look slightly left of center and slightly up to see a very tiny moon and Venus…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
