Columbia River Maritime Museum – Astoria, Oregon

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in Seaside, Oregon. I’ve been here several times before. I plan to depart from here June 15th. I’ll slow my pace and spend the rest of the Summer in the State of Washington.

I first published this blog entry June 17, 2014…

A couple of days ago I drove the Bronco the 20 miles back to Astoria, Oregon to visit the Columbia River Maritime Museum. The museum does a great job of presenting the history of the Columbia River. You can read about this museum at their website by clicking this link…http://www.crmm.org/

Many areas of the museum are darker with exhibits illuminated by spotlight making it difficult for hand-held photography. Nonetheless…here are some of the photos that I took…

I’ve been here to this area several times over the years and always enjoy this beautiful place.

I hope you enjoyed the photos!

Yesterday was sunny and 73 degrees. Forecast for today is partly sunny and 64 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of Oregon. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
