Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.
The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in Seaside, Oregon. I’ve been here several times before. I plan to depart from here June 15th. I’ll slow my pace and spend the rest of the Summer in the State of Washington.
I’m in Lewis and Clark country. The below Google earth image shows the details. The lower TT indicates my current location at Thousand Trails RV Resort at Seaside, Oregon. 10 miles to the north the FC marks Fort Clatsop where Lewis & Clark spent the winter of 1805-06. Progressing north (upward) across the mouth of the Columbia River, the X marks the furthest western progression of Lewis & Clark when they first stepped upon a Pacific Ocean beach at Beard’s Hollow. And a mere one mile north, the TT above the X marks Thousand Trails Long Beach RV Resort at Seaview, Washington…

Although I had visited Fort Clatsop a few years back, I re-visited it again yesterday. It’s always a real pleasure for me to visit an important historic location. Here are some of the photos that I took…
