The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails South Jetty RV Resort in Florence, Oregon. I’ll depart here May 23rd.
Yesterday under sunny skies and a cold northerly wind with temperatures in the mid-50’s, Mary and I spent about three hours in the local Pioneer Museum and walking around Old Town Florence.
Here’s a Google earth view of the Florence area. The Siuslaw River flows passes by Florence and into the Pacific Ocean. The large white areas are sand dunes, some at about 300 feet high…
