Photography Assignment #4

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

The motorhome is parked at Mary’s home in Murphys, California. While here I’ll perform routine maintenance and cleaning of both the motorhome and Bronco.

Mary had surgery on her right shoulder April 15th.

I want to assist her during recovery however I can. I assisted her with her left shoulder surgery in 2009. Whenever it’s convenient and I know that she is comfortable, I’ll make my future travel plans at that time.

While hanging out here, I thought I’d post some earlier entries about things and places near here in Murphys, California. I first published this blog November 17, 2011…

The 15 minute photography assignment series…take 15 hopefully interesting/unusual photos within a circle radius of 100 feet…regardless of my location. To record images that most other folks who are not into photography never see. With only 15 minutes…there is not a lot of time to contemplate composure and focus…all hand-held…which means…no tripods allowed. A challenge to my photography skills.

All of my photos are close to all natural. No doctoring in photo image manipulation programs…other than a little cropping and fill-light/contrast adjustments in Picasa 3. You may click upon the photos to see them in a larger view.

The location is Murphys, California on November 15, 2011.

Yesterday I decided to further challenge myself…all 15 photos to be taken exclusively on the exterior sides of the motorhome. Here are the photos…

Another interesting and fun self-assignment!

It’s kind of unusual for me to have a lot of free time on my hands. I know I’m retired, but generally I’m on the go, places to see, people to meet, cleaning, preventative maintenance on both of our vehicles, a good book to read, etc… So, in the future, when I find myself in this mode…when finding something to write about for a daily Blog entry…that problem has been solved. I’ll just assign myself another 15 minute photography assignment and viola!…another blog entry.

I just love being a photographer and a full-time RVer. What a lucky guy I am

A most enjoyable 15 minutes!

There are literally hundreds of photographs waiting to be taken within the range of a circle of 100 feet radius. They’re everywhere…they’re everywhere! And lucky me…I get to see them whenever I desire!

No matter where I travel with the RV and Bronco…this statement essentially remains true.

I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Yesterday was sunny and 75 degrees. Forecast for today is mostly sunny and 79 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of California. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
