Post-Operation day

Mary is no longer available for RV traveling, but we remain good friends.
Because we have 4,000+ postings, I’ve invited her to continue posting entries on this blog.

The motorhome is parked at Mary’s home in Murphys, California. While here I’ll perform routine maintenance and cleaning of both the motorhome and Bronco.

Mary had surgery on her right shoulder April 15th.

I want to assist her during recovery however I can. I assisted her with her left shoulder surgery in 2009. Whenever it’s convenient and I know that she is comfortable, I’ll make my future travel plans at that time.

Yesterday… I drove Mary the 69 miles back to Stockton for her Post-Operation examination.

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

This first photo shows Band-Aids I placed over the eight holes from the surgery after her shower a short while ago…

What was under the Band-Aids…

A nurse removed the stitches…

Then covered the incisions with smaller Band-Aids which will come off during her next shower a couple of days from now…

While we waited for her surgeon I studied a wall chart…

And Mary took a little nap…

Here they review the photos from the operation..

This is what they were looking at…

At the next appointment area, I took this photos of the 14 surgeons associated with the facility…

Here’s Mary’s surgeon…

He told her everything is fine. Mary will begin physical therapy in Angels Camp, only 10 miles from her home, next week. She has a June 2nd appointment to return to Stockton for an x-ray and another post-op evaluation.

I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Yesterday was sunny/cloudy and 73 degrees. Forecast for today is cloudy with periods of rain and 61 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

The red dot on the below map shows my approximate location in the State of California. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!

My current travel rig is a 2006 Fleetwood 26′ Class A Motorhome and a towed 1986 Ford Bronco II, Eddie Bauer Model. This photo was taken in the desert at Slab City near Niland, California…
