Manteca To Bakersfield, California…

In yesterday’s blog entry, I complained about my recent intermittent motorhome engine problems…upon starting…rough idle and low power. Today I’m happy to report that yesterday morning the motorhome fired up and ran like a champion.

I drove the 232 miles from Manteca to Bakersfield, California with no problems.

Arriving in Bakersfield I parked at Moose Club #2178. I have parked here on my way south for a number of years. Nice electric hookup here allows me to use my electric heater to ward off the nighttime chill.

It’s a very active and friendly club and I always enjoy a great Taco Tuesday. Large and tasty tacos for only $1. I had three along with some nice conversations…

I’ll depart about 8 AM this morning. Today’s destination is Palm Desert, California…about 230 miles.

I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Yesterday was sunny/cloudy and 58 degrees. Forecast for today is sunny and 71 degrees.

Enjoying nice weather is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
