Pacific Ocean At Sunrise Near Newport, Oregon

The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Whalers Rest RV Resort about six miles south of Newport, Oregon. I’ve been here several times before and plan to depart here tomorrow.

Mary is dealing with her over-flowing to-do list plate which can only be handled by herself. I’m hoping she will be able to rejoin me sometime after July 4th.

The below Google Earth image shows the campground location about six miles south of Newport. The shore is only about 500 feet away from my camping spot…marked by TT and at night I can hear the roar of the Pacific Ocean…

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

About a three-minute walk through the trees brings you to the ocean…

Alone…all by myself to drink in this beautiful spectacle. I just love the 24 hour a day ocean roar…
