Grandpa’s Bragging Day

The motorhome is parked at Mary’s home in Murphys, California. I’m currently doing routine maintenance, minor repairs and deep cleaning to both the motorhome and Bronco. On about May 21, Mary and I are planning to head-out for Yellowstone National Park (and other destinations) in Wyoming

My grandson Eric is a high school senior. His graduation date is set for June 17th and he’ll turn 18 on August 11th…and he’s an aspiring major league baseball catcher. In the last two years Eric has been invited to four Boston Red Sox showcases. A showcase is where a major league ball club invites up-and-coming potential major league players to come and show their talents.

As a senior catcher for his high school team he his batting an incredible .758 average for his spring season. Only a handful of major league players bat over .300. The team has a current record of 8 wins and 0 losses so far. Here are some photos I took of Eric when we were back in Connecticut where he lives in 2013…
