The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails RV Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. My scheduled departure date is Friday, February 13th.
Mary continues to be overwhelmed with personal business. I am now not expecting to see her again until I arrive at her home in Murphys, California about the third week in April. It’s just the way things are and we just have to deal with it.
I’ve come to Las Vegas, Nevada several times over the years and have quite thoroughly explored the area. Rather than go back to these various places and re-create the wheel, (unless I do something different and unusual) I’m electing to republish some of my earlier blog entries…or discuss a different topic.
My view to the eastern horizon here is blocked by RV’s and trees…so I can’t see the pre-sunrises like I could in Yuma, Arizona, However, yesterday morning I saw some pretty high clouds reflecting the upcoming sun…

At 1:00 PM, Mary’s oldest daughter, Kristanne came to visit me. She has lived in Henderson just south of Las Vegas for almost five years. She insisted on buying lunch and since she is not familiar with this part of Las Vegas, I suggested Mary’s and my favorite buffet place just a couple of miles away…The Golden Corral…
The place was really crowded on a Saturday afternoon, but we still enjoyed some good food. We enjoyed a very pleasant time and just before she left she gave me a Valentine’s gift…
In addition to being attractive like her mom…she is also very intelligent like her mom. Thanks, for coming by, Kristanne…I enjoyed our time together.
As an aside, when we left for the restaurant at 1:15, it was 76 degrees outside and 81 inside the motorhome. On February 7th, I actually ran the motorhome air conditioner until about 5:00 PM. Las Vegas has been in a stretch for several days now where the daily temperatures have been running 10-15 degrees above average. Just fine with me! Although, yesterday was just a tad too warm for me. I’ve mentioned in other Blog entries that Mary calls me The Weather Wimp! When the temperature gets below 65 or above 75…I start to complain! Yesterday is a good example. 🙂
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PHOTOS.
Yesterday was a sunny/cloudy and 77 degrees. Forecast for today is cloudy/sunny and 73 degrees.
The red dot on the below map shows our approximate location in the State of Nevada. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…
Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
