Thousand Trails Birch Bay RV Resort – Blaine, Washington

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the 60 miles from La Conner to Blaine, Washington. The motorhome is parked at Thousand Trails Birch Bay RV Resort. We are here for a two-week stay. This location marks the furthest northern point for the motorhome during our planned 2014 travels. A mere four miles from the Canadian Border. In the below Google Earth image, X marks our location and BI represents Bellingham International Airport 17 miles to the south where I met Mary yesterday afternoon…

It was low tide when I took this photo for a small concrete dock right in front of our table. At high tide the waters return to my standing spot…
