The motorhome is parked at Millersylvania State Park about 10 miles south of Olympia, Washington. I lived in Olympia from 1980 to 1995 and will visit with old friends while in the area. I’ll depart the area tomorrow.
Mary is at home tending to personal matters…home maintenance, family, friends, rentals, etc.. She has made her flight reservations to meet me July 29th in Bellingham, Washington.
Yesterday I took a walk through Tumwater Falls Park. Tumwater is just south and adjacent to Olympia, Washington. To read about the park…click this link…<http://www.olytumfoundation.org/tumwater-falls-park.asp

This sign explains about how the salmon use the river…
The salmon hatchery is just to the left of where I took this photo. It’s empty at this time of year. The waters of the fish ladder that the salmon use can be seen through the metal grating…
The falls are very subdued this time of the year. During the winter months they really rage though this area. One of the long-closed Olympia Brewing Company buildings can be seen on the left…
A closeup of a portion of the falls…
The Dechutes River flows downward to Capitol Lake. The Falls Terrace Restaurant can be seen on the left…
A 180 degree panorama…
I just could not resist a watercolor photo…
Another 180 degree panorama…
Another view…
This walking bridge goes over the lower falls. It’s a replica of the bridge used by early citizens of Tumwater…
The view from the walking bridge looking north…
A watercolor view of the lower falls…
Heading back upstream this view shows the beginning of the fish ladder on the right…
A trash container dressed as a Olympia Beer can…
A closer look at the Trade Mark Logo…
An earlier version…
