Cabalgata Binacionial – Columbus, New Mexico

The motorhome is parked in Mary’s yard at her home at Murphys, California. I plan to depart at 10:00 AM this morning. Mary will fly to meet me in Yuma, Arizona in early January.

My purposes in leaving now are first to escape the soon-to-come much colder weather in Murphys, California. In addition, I have lots of friends in the Yuma area plus I’ll cross into Mexico to visit my dentist for my annual cleaning, refurbish the freon in the Bronco’s air conditioning system and get new prescription eyeglasses.

Yesterday was a mostly sunny day at 67 degrees.  Forecast for today is mostly sunny and 66 degrees. The forecast for tomorrow is a high of only 48 degrees with a real feel of 38. I’m getting out of Dodge just in time!

A more relaxed mode…

After our 682 day on-the-go 2011-2013 circumnavigation of the United States, we have decided to slip into a more relaxed mode. In the next few months we will be traveling through areas previously explored. Unless I do something unusual, this Blog will feature a photo album from the circumnavigation and will change daily.
