Yesterday I drove the motorhome the 35 miles from Sandpoint, Idaho to Newport, Washington.
We continued traveling along U.S.Highway 2 West.
The traffic continued light along Highway 2…
First thing yesterday morning we had a visitor. I took her silhouette photo…

Yesterday morning it rained until about 9:30 AM and the traffic remained light along highway 2…
We crossed into the State of Washington about 10:30 AM…
First stop was at the Pend Orille County Historical Museum where I took this shot up Washington Street…
In the museum I took these photos. This painting is on Washington Street looking south towards the museum which is the building on the right with the green roof…
Here are some other photos I took in the museum…

Next we went to a local Mexican restaurant where we met up with Jim Davison and his wife Sharon. I’ve not seen Jim in over ten years when we were both members of the WIN RV Singles Group. Jim and i were part of a small caravan that spent six months during the winter of 2001-2002 in Baja California, Mexico. It was nice to see an old friend once again…
It was only about another 12 miles to Thousand Trails Little Diamond RV Resort where we spent the night…
Here’s the usual dinette window photo…
Yesterday was cloudy with occasional rain showers and windy. High temperature for the day was 67 degrees.
Forecast high temperature for today is 71 degrees and sunny.
We’ll continue our westward travel later this morning.
Enjoying seeing old friends is another joy in the life of a full-time RVer!
The red dot on the below map shows our approximate location in the State of Washington. You may double left-click the map to make it larger…
Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures with low humidity most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
