Harlingen, Texas – Day 2

Mary remains at home in California tending to medical and personal business issues. She has made her airline reservations to join me at Harlingen, Texas on January 3, 2013.

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the about four miles from American Legion Post #205 to the Trade Winds RV Resort. This Google Earth image is not a real-time image. The park is not currently this full. This resort is affiliated with our Thousand Trails membership, so it’s only costing us $3 a night/$63 for a three-week stay. My spot is marked by the X pin…

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

The wind overnight had shifted to come from the North still at a constant 35 miles per hour. High temperature yesterday was 67 degrees.

As always, I like to show the view from the dinette window…

The flags at 90 degrees attest to the wind by the clubhouse…

Enjoying 65-75 degree temperatures most of the year is a primary joy in the RVing lifestyle!
