WASP Museum, Sweetwater, Texas

Yesterday I drove the motorhome the about six miles from Roscoe to the WASP Museum in Sweetwater, Texas.

WASP stands for Women Airforce Service Pilots. You need to click this link to find out all about them. They are truly unsung heroines of World War II…

After my visit they graciously allowed me to spend the night with electrical hookup and hide from the 30+ mile an hour winds and temperatures which dropped noticeably during the night. I expect to depart later this morning. In the first photo below note the flags at 90 degrees in the far right upper corner…
