Santa Fe, New Mexico – Day 1

Mary remains at home in California tending to medical issues.

Yesterday I drove the motorhome about 25 miles from Espanola to Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is now parked at the rear of Fraternal Order of Eagles Airee #2811. I’m expecting to be here about four days.

Santa Fe has a population of about 68,000 and is at about 7,000 feet of elevation. You can read all about this city by clicking this Wikipedia informational link…

The Eagles building is really large and even has showers and a steam room. I enjoyed a really nice shower yesterday afternoon.

I spent a good portion of the afternoon researching things to see here. The Bronco is parked on the other side of the motorhome. I always like to show the view from the dinette window, but since the sun was brightly shining into it yesterday afternoon, I waited until this morning to take the photo…

I’ll begin exploring the city today.
