Espanola, New Mexico – Day 5

Mary remains at home in California tending to medical issues.

The motorhome is still parked at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Airee #3695 in Espanola about 25 miles north of Santa Fe. The weather has started to turn cooler, so I’m planning to depart tomorrow.

Yesterday I drove the Bronco about three miles to visit the historic Santa Cruz Plaza which was an important stop on the El Camino Real.

You can read about Santa Cruz by clicking this link…

The church was locked, so I did not get to see the inside.

As always you may left click upon an image to see an enlarged view and then click once again to see an even larger view…

Across the street was a small art gallery where I took these photos…

And three miscellaneous photos…

Enjoying historical places and things is another joy of a full-time RVer!

    Beautiful HDR.

Jim, much prefer your “natural” photos and not the ones that the new camera does. When does Mary join you.

      Hi Donna,
I’ve become a lazy photographer and shoot photos when it’s convenient for me and not when there is better lighting. Mid-day photos in bright sunlight tend to have a washed-out look to them with no color punch. Lots of folks seem to like the watercolor painting mode as I do. Mary is back in CA dealing with medical issues that seem to be related with after-effects of our May 27th accident. Right now it’s looking like she will not re-join me until after Christmas. A bummer…but she’s got to take care of these medical issues.
