As a holder of the New Mexico Annual Camping Permit (non-resident $225), I can stay up to three weeks in a park which I am currently doing here at Heron Lake.
In yesterday’s Blog entry I mentioned that I had my best day physically since the May 27th accident. So much so, that I was able to climb down and back up the 600 feet to the Rio Chama and suspension bridge below. Two weeks ago because of my physical state I could only look down and take photos from the overlook and river below.
Today I show photos during my descent, tomorrow I’ll show the river and suspension bridge…
