as though Summer has finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest…yesterday.
Since I entered the state just before the Memorial Day Weekend the temperatures have been between 55 and 65 degrees with cloudy and rainy skies. In general about 10-15 degrees below normal.
Once in a while Summer-like weather starts as early as February…somtimes it doesn’t start until the beginning of August. Whatever…it’s finally here!
I love spending my Summers here…it seldom gets to hot. My favorite locations are from about one hour North of Seattle to the Canadian Border near Puget Sound. The scenery is beautiful, the air is fresh and clean and the people are very friendly.
In other news…yesterday I traveled back to Thousand Trails RV Resort in Monroe, Washington along the southern bank of the Skykomish River. I expect to be here for a couple of weeks. Since I was here so recently I wrote several Blog entries about this park. Look back 2-3 weeks ago and you’ll find them. My primary reason for returning to this park so soon is that one week from tomorrow I have my annual physical at the VA Hospital in Seattle. This is the closest Thousand Trails park.
