Jim says:
Bills itself as “The World’s Largest Classic Car Showroom”. It is located on the entire 5th floor of the self-parking garage of the Imperial Palace Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and is 125,00 square feet. I visited last Sunday while awaiting Mary’s return from Burbank, California.
This place is not only a museum, but as an actual showroom. Some are shown as “Display Only”, but most of them are for sale. I saw cars priced from $4,000, a Yugo, to $1,500,000 for a one-of-a-kind Rolls Royce. I have never seen as many Rolls Royce’s in one location…there must have been at least 25 of them!
Some of the celebrity cars had been owned by Elvis Presley, Johnny Carson, Red Skelton, Bing Crosby and the Sultan of Bernai.
From their brochure (in part)…

Here there are about 250 classic cars on display that span more than a century, many one-of-a-kind in the world!
Here you’ll find classic cars, race cars, muscle cars, celebrity care and more, some valued at more than $10,000,000.
The Auto Collections is one of the world’s great “one stop” shopping centers for the collector who cares.
Whether you are buying, selling, trading or just visiting the Auto Collections, it will be an exciting experience.
There is something for everyone with the prices ranging from $10,000 to $10,000,000.

In other news…Mary is still dealing with a bad cold and also tired from her two-day weekend trip to Burbank, California, so yesterday was a day of rest, sleeping, reading and a little computer work. She reports that she is feeling much better this morning.
