A few days back I looked out of the windshield window of our motorhome and saw what appeared to be people golfing on the hard desert-floor sand across the street from our RV park. How can that be????
Wandering across the street we saw this sign…
It appears the winter residents of our park, Countryside RV Park, have somehow managed to set up a desert, winter golf course. They simply drive their golf carts across the street and start golfing! One of the golfers told us they each pay $20 a year for grounds fees.
At least they do not have to worry about keeping the grass well-trimmed!
In other news…
Yesterday was laundry day. Today we head out towards Las Vegas, Nevada, 325 miles distant.
