Ever Seen A White Stop Sign?

A couple of Blog entries ago I mentioned having spent the night at the Wild Horse Casino in a quiet RV parking area. This was the location of the old casino and no longer used by the general public. While there I happen to notice a most unusual sight…a white stop sign. While in the photograph it looks more gray then white…in reality it was more white than gray.

Most likely you know red paint beaches in time in the sun. Well that’s what’s happened here. The stop sign there for likely a number of years faced due South with no protection from the burning Arizona sun. Summer temperatures in this area have been known to exceed 110+ degrees. Here’s the result…

Even in all my years of travel, I’ve never seen a white stop sign.
