A Day Of Rest And A Prairie Cajun Weather Forecaster…
March 12, 2010
Jim says: Yesterday Mary and I drove the motorhome about 50 miles North to Opelousas, Louisiana where we are safely camped in the South City Park. After being on the go for several days, we decided it was time to rest awhile. The park is nice and peaceful so we spent the day reading, napping, walking, etc…

While sitting in the shade behind our motorhome, I remarked about the delightful afternoon weather…but that it was about 4 degrees to warm.

If you are a long-time follower of my Blog, you’ll remember that I try really hard to stay in 65 to 75 degree temperatures. When it gets outside that range, I start to complain. Mary came up with a new name for me,,,The Weather Wimp. When we were recently in Crowley, I came across this Prairie Cajun Weather Forecaster to help me better understand the weather in Louisiana. It’s been really useful!

We’ll see what Opelousas has to offer today.
