Mary and I are in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Yesterday we rode the tramway which begins at 6,559 feet of elevation and at the top is 10,378 feet. At 2.7 miles in length for 44 years it was the longest tramway in the World…until two years ago when a 3.5 mile tramway opened in Armenia. It remains the longest in the Western Hemisphere. There are only two towers over the entire length of this tramway.

It was a great day for a tramway ride…75 degrees at the lower elevation and 45 degrees at the upper elevation. The overview of Albuquerque and the ride itself was truly enjoyable.

After taking in all that beautiful scenery, Mary said she needed to “rest her eyes” I just could not pass up taking this photo…

I just had to do it!  :)
